BLACK LIVES MATTER
“Antiracism work that does not break the heart open cannot move people toward meaningful change.”
― Layla F. Saad
WHAT IS ANTI-RACISM?
Being anti-racist is engaging in the active fight against racism. It means recognizing how I personally as a white, middle-class raised person have been complicit in the systems of white supremacy and oppression. Racism exists on many levels: individually, structurally, inter-personally, and institutionally. Being anti-racist is a choice, just as engaging in racism as a choice. Learn with me.
